Which program is best for you? Full MA for working professionals, traditional or non-traditional post-graduate, transferable credits as study abroad in Europe.

Certified Program:
~Choose modules in any two consecutive semesters
~Receive 30 ECTS (1 semester full-time study) credits to transfer to other degree programs as Study Abroad.
~Upper-level Bachelor studies from a related field eligible for admission.
~Upgrade from Certified Program to full Master of Arts program any time.
~Perfect for those from related disciplines as an elective in contemporary digital media research. (tradional art history or curating, archiving & preservation, history of science, contemporary fine arts, computer science, cultural heritage / management.)

Advanced Master of Arts with 120 ECTS:
~For those who may wish to pursue a PhD in Europe during their future academic career.
~Required internship may be pursued in home country, at the Dept. for Image Science, or with the MediaArtHistories network. (Erasmus+ funding available – click here)

Master of Arts with 90 ECTS:
~Admission requirements – previous degree at Bachelor level or higher, or minimum 4 years relevant work experience.
~All low-residency modules and excursions included. No internship required.
~Fulfills the requirement for international PhD admission outside the Bologna Process. (contact us if you have questions)
~Working-Professionals can maintain their job and life at home, traveling to Austria for the modules.
~Traditional students entering after a BA have time between the moduels to gain new research and work experience.
~Students elegible to obtain a student visa to live in Europe for all or part of their studies.
~Well suited for multidisicplinary-minded researchers and practioners looking for a unique direction.

 

Study Abroad and Mobilities
~ The opportunity for mobilities within Europe under Erasmus+ funded credit mobility or traineeship is available.
~ Receive 30 ECTS (1 semester full-time study) credits to transfer to other degree programs as Study Abroad.
